AI literacy for students and educators.

Taking AI Knowledge to Every Community.
A community-focused initiative bringing practical AI education, digital skills and future-focused technology knowledge beyond Nigeria's major technology hubs.
Artificial Intelligence is changing how people learn, work, create and build businesses.
But access to AI knowledge should not be determined by where someone lives.
AI Beyond the City Tour aims to bring practical AI education and digital skills closer to communities, helping people understand the technology and discover how they can use it in meaningful ways.
AI literacy for students and educators.
Practical AI for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Exploring technology opportunities for agricultural communities.
AI tools for creators, storytellers and digital professionals.
AI should not be a privilege of the cities.
The future of AI cannot belong only to people who live in technology hubs. We have a responsibility to make sure that AI knowledge, skills and opportunity reach every community.”
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming one of the most important technologies shaping how we learn, work, create and build businesses. But access to the knowledge required to understand and use AI should not be limited by geography.
There are young people in communities across Nigeria with the curiosity, creativity and potential to build incredible things, but many of them may not have the same exposure to AI and emerging technologies as someone living in a major technology hub.
AI Beyond the City Tour is our response to that gap. We want to take the conversation directly to communities, schools, young people, entrepreneurs and people who may not normally have access to technology-focused programmes.
Our goal isn't simply to teach people how to use an AI tool. It is to help people understand what is happening, what is possible, and how they can participate in the future that AI is creating.
We believe the best way to prepare for the future is to start preparing people today.
“AI must reach beyond the cities. The future belongs to everyone.”
Each visit moves from understanding to doing. Learn. Create. Innovate.
Practical AI demonstrations and workshops.
Participants use AI to solve real-world problems.
Explore how AI can support education, business, agriculture and creativity.
Meet other learners, entrepreneurs, educators and technology enthusiasts.
Some of these ideas are already part of daily life. Others are still debated by researchers. The tour explains both in plain language, so people can tell the difference.
Systems that produce text, images, audio and code from simple instructions. For most people, this is where AI starts.
Software that can plan and carry out tasks with several steps, such as researching, drafting and booking, with a person supervising.
Routine work like record keeping, reminders and reports handed to software, so people spend more time on judgement and relationships.
Artificial general intelligence: a system that could match people across most kinds of work. Experts disagree on whether and when it could arrive.
A system that would exceed human ability in almost every field. It is hypothetical, and it raises safety questions being discussed now.
Some tasks will change, some will disappear and new roles will appear. Understanding AI helps people choose skills with a future.
One person or a small team can now build products and services that once needed a large company and large budgets.
Privacy, fairness, accuracy and safety. Knowing what AI gets wrong matters as much as knowing what it can do.
People should understand the direction technology is moving before they are forced to adapt to it.
